Oxidative Therapies
Ozone Therapy
Oxygen is delivered throughout the body by the circulation of blood. As we age, the transport into and the utilization of oxygen within the cells becomes less efficient. A decrease of oxygen availability will impair thousands of chemical reactions necessary to health. In this way, a deficiency of oxygen contributes to diseases and illnesses.
Ozone is oxygen to which a third molecule has been added and this active form is used as a therapeutic tool. It is a powerful oxidizer that can kill a wide variety of viruses, bacteria, fungus and other toxins. It also improves blood circulation, increases oxygenation of the blood and is an important immuno-regulator.
Therapeutic Uses of Ozone
For these reasons, the range of health problems that may respond favorably to ozone therapy is quite broad:
- CIRCULATORY DISEASES - strokes, gangrene, dementia etc.
- MUSCLE AND JOINT INJURY - to hasten the healing process
- CHRONIC FATIGUE SYNDROME - "burn out"
- FIBROMYALGIA
- RESPIRATORY DISEASES - asthma, chronic bronchitis, emphysema etc.
- INFECTIOUS DISEASES - hepatitis, chronic Candidiasis (yeast overgrowth), herpes, parasites etc.
- AUTO-IMMUNE DISORDERS - multiple sclerosis, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, etc.
- DIABETES TYPE II
- CHRONIC BOWEL CONDITIONS - colitis, Crohn's disease, Irritable bowel syndrome
ULTRAVIOLET BLOOD IRRADIATION
UV irradiation is exposure of small amounts of a patient's blood to ultraviolet light for 10 minutes. The patient's blood is then returned via IV at the same place in a vein from which it was taken. It is a treatment that is similar to the Ozone therapy and can be used on its own or in conjunction with Ozone. It has been used to disinfect surgical instruments, bedding, room air etc. for many years. While the UV light is excellent at killing organisms, its other remarkable quality is that of stimulating the immune and enzyme systems.
Therapeutic Uses of Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation
This therapy works amazingly for treating acute infections, Lyme Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and Fibromyalgia as well as the following:
- VIRAL INFECTIONS - hepatitis, mononucleosis, pneumonia, etc
- BACTERIAL INFECTIONS - E.coli, pneumonia, Staph, Strep, etc.
- CHRONIC DISEASES - asthma, eczema, migraine, Raynaud's disease
- INFLAMMATORY DISEASES - gastritis, acne, arthritis, mastitis, sinusitis, pancreatitis, etc.
- OTHER - general exhaustion, immune stimulation, fungal infections, diabetic ulcers, slow healing wounds or fractures
